| Located 30 km from Manaus (approx. 2 1/2 hours by boat from Tropical Hotel Pier), on the bank one of the Amazon's innumerable tributaries, is the Amazon Village. The Village has 32 wooden bungalows built amongst the trees and equipped with 2 rooms each with twin beds and private bathroom facilities. The transfer from Manaus to the Amazon Village: PART 1: MANAUS/CEASA PORT - by van, microbus or bus (Duration: around ½ hr). PART 2: CEASA PORT/AMAZON VILLAGE by regional boat, via the Meeting of the Waters phenomenon. (Duration: around 2-½ hrs) All packages include stop for a brief visit to the Opera House (Ticket NOT included approx. cost: U$ 5,00 p/person).
